Counting my blessings

As I sit back and recount:

Amisdst the gloom brought about by the financial turmoil amongst other earth-shattering events like the Mumbai terror attack, Sichuan Earthquake...

I can be thankful for the many blessings bestowed upon me...

Major milestones in 2008:

1. Graduate: Class of 2008
2. Banking Career

Going forward into 2009, I cannot help but maintain a healthy sense of optimisim that it will be an even better year that holds greater promise.

Firstly, I would have gotten sufficient professional work experience at the bank. Secondly, I will be pursuing my Masters in International Political Economy in the United Kingdom.

Indeed, I am really looking forward to a fantastic 2009.
