Transcience of time, i learn!

Dear all,

Its truly amazing at which the pace of time is ever so fleeting and transcient. We are now midway into the second week of the year of the Pig. What have i been engaged in, thus far?

Well, life is definitely far from mundane. In fact, i just wish i had more hours in a day to do what i have to do, but then again, the obligatory 24 hrs ensures that i practise good time management. However, I must say, i am not exactly a good manager of time. That area sure needs some working on, but i am confident enough to say that slowly and surely, i have sure made great improvements in the department; that is time management. Just simply need to procrastinate less!

Given that i am so engaged in the vibrance; that is university life, i have learn to juggle tutorials, assignments, sitting through lectures, business club activities, editorial activities, church activities, chilling out, library visits, sports....etc with a certain level of finesse. The highly engaging life i lead has in one way or another resulted in a certain level of time management on my part, in order for me to accomplish much. But, there is still room for improvement, so i can accomplish much more!

Yes, i am even able to squeeze some time off from the jam-packed schedule of mine to blog! Well, i am most happy when i get to do this, as it enables me to reflect, and in so doing, i get some respite from work. Well, to put it simply, blogging equates to a time of relaxation. Far from being a chore, i blog away with glee. This is at a time when i had to endure 3 lectures and 2 tests earlier on in the day! Now that i am home, i can finally pat myself on the back! It had truly been a long day. What next? Slumberland...........

What's for tomorrow? Accounting lecture followed by an interview for an executive committee position within the business club. What role is best for me, in order to contribute much? Well, being the people person that i am, i am opting for a position in Human Resource. Then again, its not for me to decide, i guess. Nevertheless, will let you faithful visitors to my blog know about the outcome.

Wow, never been so inspired to say so much, given that i had a long long day at school, today! And, i still need to plan for my overseas immersion and of course, apply for an internship.

Then again, its gotta be a Good night for now.

Best regards,

2007: Life Redefined

First and foremost blessed new year to one and all...and especially to those who have been reading my blog ever so faithfully; a very big thank you and an even bigger hug!

The last entry was quite awhile back, and i apologised for that, since, it was the month of december, i was really busy with many things.

Anyway, i must say it was a truly fulfilling 2006 that just went by and i am happy to have lead my life the way i did; one with little regrets.

As i move into 2007, many more things await... well, my final exams is something that looms ahead in the horizon as i continually pursue many other things and always keeping my life filled!
I am currently an English tutor to a boy from China; had the first lesson with him and found him to be a very promising learner! Apart from that, i am still very much involved with varsity life, and was part of the recently concluded CEO Match at school. It was a business game which i found to be both competitive and enriching. I must say it was a worthwhile experience participating in it (Constance, thanks for encouraging moi to join).

On top of that, i was very much active in church last year and will continue to do so in this coming year. I was involved in the church camp, chuch worship leading, and also the Yellow Ribbon Project where i was part of a group of carolers from church who brought festive cheer to inmates at the Kaki Bukit Prison School. It was an eye-opening experience, and i hope to be involved in the project again; come year-end.

On the side, i also spent the festive season partying and catching up with friends. It was both fulfilling and great fun. Time to hit the books though, as i had better tune out of the festive season and spend more time on my readings.

And i promise i will contunually update this little blog of mine, when time permits. Meanwhile, must get busy with my readings and varsity activities once again...its good bye 2006 and welcome 2007!

Ooh, and the sun is out...i need a tan badly and of course time to hit the pool. I will also factor in running into my busy schedule... need to train for the year end marathons... (Sheares Bridge Run, Stand Chart Singapore Marathon....)

2007: Here i come, with renewed hope and strength!
