My mind was challenged!

Tata International Business Quiz 2007 @ NUS
It was an amazing experience, though a humbling one, there was much I could take away from the competition. Indeed, my mind has been opened to a world of immense possibilities. The only way forward now, is to press on in the fight to understand more of the world around me.

Truly, there are many better than I am, but, it pays to be optimistic and face the world with a certain sense of optimism, and indeed, being good is not enough. I shall press on and better myself.

The competition was truly intense, there were 150 over teams from the various universities, NUS, NTU, SIM and SMU...and after the preliminary round, only 8 teams were selected for the finals. Though, my team was not among the 8, it did not really matter. It was the process of going through the competition that taught me a valuable lesson; never take the world around me for granted, there is much I can take away and be enriched by it, right down to the smallest of details.

We were up against some of the quickest, most brilliant minds around...there were many "foreign talents"- Indian nationals to be exact. 7 of the 8 teams were made up entirely of foreigners- mostly Indian nationals.

Go figure!....Singaporeans? I will press on....competition is stiff, but I will prove my worth...not in Singapore but on the world stage.
Catch us on TV, channel news asia, 1 Nov at 9pm and be amazed by the intense competition. Truly a feast for the mind!
