Visits to Cold Storage @ Holland v and Cold Storage @ Jelita (enclave of the rich and expatriates alike)yielded the following observations:
The 'ang mohs' like their reds by Flinder's from Australia's Barossa Valley.
Its cheap but good (4/5 stars).
My personal favourites as accompaniment to my favourite foods;
Champagne: A glass of Piper Hiedsieck to go with a slice of the 'seven-layer' chocolate cake from Seah Street deli @ the Raffles Hotel.
Red: A glass of Grenache shiraz by Penfolds from Barossa Valley to complement my rib-eye steak.
White: A glass of Chenin Blanc to go with my favourite sea-food; mussels, calamari, cod, oysters, crayfish etc.
