Forever friends
Last night, had dinner with my child-hood gal pals; Joanna and Lorraine. We did dinner at Lips the cafe on the 5th level of Cineleisure. Dinner and the company was great. I had a plate of yummylicious mushroom and bacon linguini in rich cream sauce. It was delicious. The cream sauce was fantastic- consistency was there and the serving portion was generous to say the least. At the end of dinner, i was bloated with contentment.
In between dinner, we had a time of endless banter of random things from reminiscing about our last clubbing experience at Shanghai Sally's to the memorable jazz experience at Harry's Bar and of course the sinful traipse to the Fullerton Hotel for a chocolate buffet. Besides all that, we also talked about how we should spend more quality time together; like an idyllic day at a private swimming pool; courtesy of Joanna and maybe more clubbing together in the not so distant future.
At present, i am busy with national service and the gals with their university life. Both of them talked about their heavy workload and how rediculous professors can be when it comes to lecture time; well, i must say, they do have their fair share of lecturers from hell. Just like i have my share of incompetent and retarded commanders from camp.
In any case, it was a great night out-the maddening traffic downtown notwithstanding, i truly appreciated their inviting me out to dinner. It is such things that i truly treasure, the company and all...
A toast to our friendship, yar?
