I'm an undergraduate from Singapore who's applying for LSE summer school this coming July with a couple of my friends. it has been very interesting to read about all your experiences!
also, this being our first time to LSE summer school, we have a couple of concerns which we hope you can help us with..
1) we're looking at a level 2 course under International Relations (more specifically, IR245 International Journalism), and we were wondering how intense it would be. we don't really wanna spend 6k and travel all the way just there to coop ourselves up to mug haha.
2) do you have any recommendations for accommodation? we're looking at ensuite rooms (with personal toilet and shower) a reasonable distance from LSE and in a convenient area with supermarts and such around.
the place you stayed in - Rosebery Avenue Myddleton Annex - do you get your personal toilet and is it in a convenient and safe area? cause we are a couple of girls you see..
really hope you can help us with our concerns. it would be helpful to hear it from a fellow Singaporean's perspective!
